Report card/Dental day

Today was report card day at school. I am so proud of the kids, they are both doing well in school.

Jevan's teacher commented that he is "numerically powerful", an excellent reader, loves learning, very friendly and kind to everyone. She wants him to work on his writing, slowing down and take pride in his work.

Kylah is happy, loves learning, is making friends, writing neatly and reading at kindergarten level. She participates in class discussions and finally made the Lost Tooth chart this past week and was extremely proud! She needs to work on more reading at home and practice math concepts.

The kids also had dental appointments and come to find out, Kylah has 5 loose teeth! The other 3 on the bottom, middle, as well as 2 top middles! Jevan realized if she loses them, she will have lost more than him! He has 1 that is loose on the top and it will be his 5th. We also found out that Jevan's baby tooth on the bottom, middle, doesn't have a permanent tooth growing underneath. It is slightly loose so will probably fall out, eventually, possibly replaced with an implant...but time and growth will tell. I guess it's not uncommon, just interesting and new to us.

I can't believe how fast time is going by and how quickly they are growing up. Report cards, losing teeth...so exciting to see what else is to come.
