Halloween Halloween Trick or Treat!

We traveled to Sequim this year for Halloween since it was on the weekend, for once. My sister and her family were there too. We decorated the outside fire area with Halloween decorations in preparation for the dance party we were going to have later that night. We took the kids down to the high school, which was having a carnival with games, etc. I have to say, it was disappointing. The games were boring, and too much waiting around. After that, we walked around town and the kids got to trick or treat in the stores...they loved it! There were kids everywhere, and it wasn't too cold. They filled their bags. We stopped at some of my parents' neighbors homes on the way back to the house and they were oh so generous. The kids said, "it was fun" and they were so excited to count their candy pieces and try some bites! Mom made delicious chili for dinner and then we costumed up and had a dance party! A good time was had by all. Sunday, we made our way back home in the beautiful fall weather after a morning visit from my cousin Wendy and her little girl, Abby, and new baby boy, Wes. The kids had fun running around and it was great to visit and catch up! The only craziness in all of this was changing the clocks. It has caused for some early risers around here and i'm hopeful their body clocks will adjust soon.

Finally, Kylah had her blood drawn yesterday and i should be getting a phone call in the next couple days with results. And Happy Birthday to my Mom today! She had some fun plans and i hope she has a terrific day...love ya Mom!
