Sweet Girl

After a whirlwind birthday weekend, we spent the next week with a sick boy. Jevan must've caught what Kylah had so he spent 4 days home as well with a fever and stuffy nose. My parents came up over the weekend to bring us wood for our stove. I was dreading rain for them to have to work in, but the sun shone and they were able to get it done in just a few hours. THANKS GUYS!
We went house hunting on Sunday and out to dinner that night. Grandma and Kylah made cookies together...it was nice to have them here for a couple days.

Yesterday we headed out to look at one more house before they were leaving town and before we knew it, Kylah had tripped over something getting out of the car and BAM, smacked her face on the concrete. Crying and blood and tissues for about 10 minutes. We managed to peek through the house taking turns holding her and she recovered fairly quickly, but her poor face didn't. She has the largest FAT lip i've ever seen and road rash from her nose to her lips. Poor girl...i felt, and feel, awful for her. I am thankful she didn't lose any teeth or break her nose, but my heart aches for her. She, on the other hand, has taken full advantage of using popsicles as "icepacks". I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will heal quickly.
